I don't see how the Democrats can win elections anywhere in the country, outside of the handful of Progressive states, going forward when the Democrats are becoming an increasing far leftist party which espouses Sanders' socialism, Ellis' identity politics, and ignores if not outright distains its former base, the white, working class.
Your arguing identity politics while attacking identity politics.

Futher more, there are 18 names on the ballot, only 2 will move on, Democrats already have a candidate with 40+ percent of the vote, so they already know who to put money behind, Republicans do not, its a 4 way race for them.

Once the primary is over, they will all get behind the one candidate.

It means Hillary didn't care about certain states, and they made her pay.
She got what she deserved.

On the contrary. I am acknowledging the result of the identity politics platform in the Democrat party and the affect identity politics had on its historically solid, white working class, Democrat base of voters.

Identity politics embraced by the Far Left faction of the Dem Party resulted in life-long Democrat, white working class, rural, often religious Americans thinking of themselves as a disadvantaged group whose identity was ignored and rejected by their Democrat Party. Thus, these voters defected from the Democrat Party.

Even Sanders has acknowledged, “It’s absolutely absurd that the Democratic Party has turned its back on working people in literally half the country." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.32a9ff0705be

That argument would work if you hadnt been posting on this site for years about race and class.

Maybe you mean that this particular post was meant to only highlight your perspective on Democrats.

I'm not the subject of this topic. If you decide to discuss the topic of this thread or points in my post you disagree with and why, I am happy to oblige.

Special elections can attract vast spending because there the competition for $$$ is minimal compared with general elections where the competition for donations is enormous.

So...why did Democrats abandon working class voters? As a member of the rent serf class, why hasn't the rent serf class acquired a political identity? Looks like another opportunity ignored by Democrats.

Perhaps you could start a thread regarding this question? And please offer your definition of the "rent serf class".
