Hahahahahahahahahahahaha NBC? Tom Brokaw is crying in his cup of coffee.

Democrats, crooked MSM, Hollywood Elite, and $100M and Democrats still couldn't beat "Lying" Ted Cruz

That's got to sting badly.

No matter how bad NBC tries to spin it, last night was a very very bad night for the Democrats.

Don't you live in Missouri?

Didn't you tell us that McCaskill would hold her seat.

Maybe you should review your "news" sources before continuing to draw these silly conclusions

House ‘popular vote’ gives Democrats something to brag about
1994 the dems owned the house 258-176
1995 repubs flipped it to 234-197
2007 dems flipped it to 235-199
2009 dems gained to 256-178
2011 repubs flipped it to 242-193
2015 repubs gained to 247-188
current house repubs have it 237-193
after yesterdays election, dems flip it back

who gives a crap about an opinion from madcow and the "popular' vote

this was one of the largest midterms in number of votes... so comparisons are apples to bananas

The popular vote total is a stunning rebuke of Trump. It also validates the polls showing his popularity is pretty upside down. Just as important is the overwhelming blue vote in PA, WI, and MI - the midwest states that put Trump over on the electoral vote. He's got his work cut out for him there.

Popular vote again. We are a Constitutional Republic. Show us a democracy, a true democracy that matches the stability and success of the U.S.

No, I never said McCaskill would hold her seat. I did say the race was close.

With all this talk of popular vote are you now changing gears from the midterms to begin supporting Hillary 2020?

Overall, the results were someone as expected...the Democrats actually came away with at least something (the house) but certainly less than they'd hoped for. *shrug* I wasn't going to lose any sleep over it either way.

the mid terms are not about people being pissed at a POTUS, they are about congress...

2010 people were pissed off at Pelosi

today people are pissed about congress not passing or even submitting bills that will help America.... the ACA repleal/replace for example... they ran on it... they (congress) failed to pass anything to fix the ACA or replace it...

HUGE win for democrats last night, very bad for Trump. Sure, they held in the Senate and even gained a few seats.

But the damage is done. Democrats will now take over leadership of multiple key Senate committees. Trump can now be held in check by Dems.

MOST IMPORTANT: Bob Mueller is safe.
