Impressive candidate? I guess a Greek temple is pretty impressive. As far as great leader: Hitler was also a great leader in that he managed to brainwash millions of Germans into carrying out his twisted philosophy - so in that aspect I guess Obama could be called a great leader. Is he great in the sense of running this country in a competent manner? All signs point to no.

Why would Bush be close to Hitler. Not even, Hitler never asked permission to go into another country, Bush asked both the country and the congress. Hitler killed all prisoners (inocent ones), Bush wont even prosecute the terrorists he has a guantonomo. Come on, Barack kills innocent babies daily. Not saying he is Hitler, I would not want to give hime that much credit, even though he would probably like that.

Sure, Bush asked the country and congress based - on false evidence. And you're right! He won't prosecute the so-called enemy combatants (there is no proof that they are confirmed "terrorists",) he'll just have them tortured. Obama does not kill innocent babies daily - that is an idiotic statement. It's SOO discouraging that all these people believe that piece of smear. Why don't you go and actually read his position before you go around spreading lies.

I most certainly am not emotional in any way right now. But good try. I am simply stating that I find his generalization offensive. And I bet I'm not the only one.
But why did they have to pull this stunt on stopping the roll call? It made it look too staged and kind of cheapened it. Why bring delegates to the convention if you won't let them do what they were hired to do? It wouldn't have changed the outcome, Obama would still be the nominee.
First they don't count Fl and MI, then they do with fractional votes. Then they stop the roll call.

The dye had already been cast and it was Hillary, herself who stopped the roll call with her gracious request for nomination by acclamation. There was electricity in the hall at that moment as Democrats came together united.
I hope Obama considers asking her to be his Secretary of State - either her or Bill, both of whom are very well-respected in the world. That would be a nice change not to feel alienated from the rest of the world's population.
It's only a half of a historic moment because only the black half of his nomination is remarkable.

What false evidence, my brother is in Iraq and they are moving chemical weapons out of there daily. Oh and the poor sweet little terrorists getting a little water in thier face, they have lawyers they are fine. Read again Barack finally admitted that it was true, plus anyone who believes in abortion is a baby killer, that is closer to Hitler than Bush and I dont even care for bush.
