It's not an 80's style,think about black socks and pumps, but the rest of the outfit staying relatively classical.

Not flattering on most people - they make your legs look shorter.

Ruffle socks and Mary Janes (no heel) look good on my toddler though.... she can get away with all sorts fashion faux pas though (polka dots, horizontal stripes,all over animal prints)
