I've often wondered why Nicolle Kidman, with her very high forehead, doesn't wear bangs. An added bonus would be not having to take so much flack about the Botox-ed look she's famous for.

And IAGal is right, bangs are the easiest way for an older woman to take 10 years off her age. Much more flattering.

I think that bangs are attractive on some women, but I prefer to be able to style my hair...I feel that bangs don't allow for much styling.

Fallacious argument - I never said there are universals. Rather, there are trends. One seems to be that men don't find bangs attractive, at least not prominent bangs and excluding women who can look good with almost any hairstyle.
