It occurs to me that it's very possible GM was not the main source of orange flavoring in the sauce they had, orange extract and/or orange zest are distinct possibilities.

Baked chicken tonight, baked potatoes and a green salad with bread. Then tomorrow night is a good-by dinner to our guests from Hawaii so it's eating out!! Then it's back to 5 of us and easy to cook for as they just eat whatever I cook them! No special orders there. Let's see, in another few weeks my daughter, her husband and my 3 year old grandson will be here for 2 weeks. I guess what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger!!

I knew someone would help!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys rock! Always there to help. That's why I love this thread.
I have the solution!

Tell your friend to just eat that dish at the restaurant and forget trying to make it at home.

OMG Cyn. You poor thing. I would have committed hara-kiri by now.

Hey why don't you order pizzas and chinese for the good bye dinner. I hope they're leaving real early. Next time, maybe a hotel would be a great suggestion! They can stay and cook at your house and they can pay for you to have room service at the hotel.

Default The Agenda - Week of May 26-30

Hi, gang. Here's what I have to think about for this coming week:

It all begins tonight with pork tenderloin, macaroni and cheese, asparagus, and Stove Top stuffing. Later in the week, I've got spinach quiche, pinto beans, jalapeno cornbread, and Salisbury steak. I'll probably go get a few other things, but I'll be errand-crazy this week, so there will be a couple of nights I won't cook. But I need to work in some more focus on the things I need, not so much what I want. I've got some apples, carrots, and celery. I've also got a juicer. Those enzymes from those things are what I need more than anything else. Balance.

Anyway, have the best week ever, folks. Bon appetit!
