Tonight we will have something very easy and simple: my version of a "Philly Cheese Steak".

Take boneless Rib Eye, slice it very thin (#1 1/2 or 2 on the slicer).
Trim exessive fat, if necessary...but, leave some on for moisture and flavor....(it will melt, and drain away in the cooking process!)
Fry up with some fresh cut onions, and bell peppers, season with pepper and salt. (I do mine on the grill, on aluminum foil)
Add either provolone or mozzarella....melt together.
Add onto "Hoagie" bun (Sub buns here in the south)....and voila......dinner's served.
I am making crispy french fries with it, and some coleslaw on the side.

Morning all....last night we had pepper steak over rice. Yummy. Tonight we are having either shrimp gumbo or crawfish etouffee (crawfish leftover from our boil on Sunday). Not sure yet which it will be.

ROTFL.....you guys might as well stay, and move in....ROTFL!
We live good here in my house, and never, ever "save" on food, but rather other things.
(I mean, don't get me wrong....I am trying to be a savy shopper....but would never sacrifice on food or taste.)
We just LOOOOVVVVEEE food to much.....huh.

Okay Denise I'm ready-MB I agree we don't scrimp on food. Simple pleasures in life include good eats.

Good hots dogs are very hard to come by out here. We used to get Tobin's in NJ but can no longer find them.
