I'm too depressed to cook, so hubby is on his own.

Just got back from the doctor, bone is not knitting so I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Thursday morning to see what the options are now.

Oh Molochai I feel so bad for you. Why isn't it knitting? Please don't let this get you too down-it's a setback but hopefully will be okay soon.

Hey Charley I can see why they call it the terminator because it contributes to the termination of life but it sounds yummy! LOL

You only live once.

Saved by the freezer. We found a package of pulled pork for BBQ. Will add some veggies on the side and call it great. All is well that ends well. Oh and it will end well as that chocolate pie is really good and cold now.

We are going over to t he brew pub for supper......no cooking for me tonight....I worked hard staining the upstairs balcony floor.....almost all done ..... oh some trim downstairs on the exterior of the deck.........DP was in a tennis tournement today in Portland and made it to the play off, came home with a nice medal on a ribbon. He was happy. So to celebrate his victory....and my hard work...supper out.

They don't know why it's not knitting together, but their guess is that the two bones are a little too far apart for the bone to regrow in the space. My doctor thinks they may have to put a metal plate in with some compression screws to fix it. I'll find out for sure what all the options are on Thursday when I talk to the surgeon.

Molochai, I've been reminded often that medicine is not an exact science. It does get old proving the docs right.. I know how ya feel. Hang in there.
