Cooking 2 pounds of fresh Cod on the grill this afternoon. I cook it in a throw away aluminum pan, melted butter on the bottom topped off with melted butter, s/p, fresh squeezed lemon, crushed Ritz crackers and some more melted butter. Cook with foil on at high heat for about 8-10 minutes then remove foil and under the stove broiler for a couple of minutes 2 crisp the toppings. Also add some more fresh squeezed lemon when done. Looking forward to some fresh local fish!
Kielbasa in a Worcestershire and brown sugar sauce, mashed potatoes and steamed carrots served with tarragon butter. This is my first time making kielbasa in this sauce, hope the kids like it.
Planning on meatloaf, roasted potatoes, tossed salad.
I was thinking the same thing but decided on pork steak instead, but we are having the roasted potatoes and the toss salad
Brianz: wish we could use our grill, but if we tried, spoiled brat who isn't a very good swimmer would get washed away. It is still pouring down here. We had to cancel our shut in visits with a few of our church members that can't get out: All we are doing is staying in and playing on the computer.
Pot roast in the crock pot with carrots, onions and gravy. Mashed potatoes, and red cabbage. Ice tea to drink. DD took the pumpkin cupcakes, so I'm making an deep dish apple pie for DS.
It's a school night for me, so dinner will be late. I will throw some burgers on the Foreman grill and serve with carrot and celery sticks I can do ahead.
I made a loaf of bread today in case DH can't wait until 8:45!
