It's Halloween, so I'm not cooking tonight. We're going have Thai food and take it home. I already know what we'll have.

crispy calamari
tom yum soup (spicy)
fish in Thai peanut sauce
chicken with red curry
jasmine rice
a pillow to sleep on after I'm done eating

Thank God I only bought tootsie pops for Halloween. We didn't have one trick or treater! Now I want pizza since everyone is talking about it. Maybe Papa Murphy's lite steak pizza on Sunday...

Funny you would say that: after we left the casino late yesterday afternoon, I decided I really didn't want to fiddle around with even fixing sandwiches when we got home and I remembered we had a pizza: Papa Murphy's as a matter of fact in the freezer. I took it out, added a little bit of extra cheese and some onions; that was our dinner. We had no trick or treaters. In our area most of them do the Trunk or Treat at the churches and malls.

My husband made a chicken stir fry last week that was great so tonight he is going to make a beef one. Vegetables are bok choy, red pepper, mushrooms, celery and spring onions. It will all be served with jasmine rice. I am looking forward not just to eating it but letting him do all that chopping!

Tonight we will sit in front of the TV watching NHL ICE HOCKEY or a movie on Netflix. So we will make sandwiches, everyone will make their own and I will make a red radish salad,a tomato salad,Won Ton snacks (smear olive oil on them and a touch of any spice we like and in the oven for 10 minutes baking),salt sticks and unsalted cashew nuts. For our sweet tooth homemade round wreath meringue with hot raspberry syrup and a shot of clear Schnapps.
Have a good weekend all
