We are having a small group from our church over for dinner. It is an every 3 month sorta pot luck. Anyway, this is our first time this season and a new group, so we don't really know the couples. Well I know one of the gals: too bad I didn't get to pair the groups; It would be different I can assure you. OK shame on me, that isn't very Christian.!!!

I am doing citrus chicken which I made yesterday, will just have to heat it up and heat the wild rice. We will also provide a light appetizer and wine. The others will bring salad, another appetizer and dessert.

In my opinion, a home-made scalloped potato casserole is worth the extra clean-up. Sounds delicious!
Sprinkle a pile of baking soda at least a half inch thick onto a damp dish rag and massage it into the crusties. It comes off in seconds. It can take a cup or so of BS to clean an entire casserole, but it's cheap.

Well I haven't posted in a few weeks...working and going to school has been h*ll. So tonight I'm making chicken nuggets (yes homemade with parm. cheese) and potato skins. I'm finished with my homework so I'm going to sit on my butt and watch the Bronco game and eat

I had to find something low maintenance as The Pats and Broncos game is right during cooking and dinner time. We decided on New England Boiled Dinner, it's smoked shoulder and quartered onions boiled half hour per pound then towards then end maybe 45-30 minutes from the end time add cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Pure comfort food on a blustery day.
