Monday dinner will be pot roast with carrots, brown gravy with onions in the crock pot, with mashed potatoes. Maybe a deep dish Apple pie. Good old fashioned comfort food.
Mmmm, carrots. Okay, I've decided that tomorrow, I am making glazed carrots. I'm not sure what I'll build around that but glazed carrots sound really really really good right now.
We have a little left over chicken and rice from last night so will heat it up plus I took some left over buffalo wings out of the freezer. I think I will have squash as well and sliced tomatoes. BTW, our dinner last night with the people we didn't know turned out to be nice and very successful. Just goes to show me, I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
