Tonight pan fried potatoes (Bratkartoffeln) with onions and caraway and Herring in white wine sauce from Costco and a baby spinach salad. To drink wine/beer,whatever they want. For dessert little Mini Meringues with half a pear and hot chocolate poured over it.

I have not decided yet because I have to get into the shower soon and actually leave the house and go have a life part of the day today.
Depending on what time I get home I will either have already had supper out, brought supper home with me or I will be the 15 bean soup and kielbasa in the slow cooker to be slowly cooking while I am gone.

I hate when that happens! You think you've found a great new recipe, but then you can never get it the same again.

Homemade cheeseburger subs for three of us. My eight year old will not eat ground beef anything so he can have baked chicken and a salad. Dessert is an experiment! I bought a Stir Crazy popcorn popper, coconut oil, some kind of special salt and some kind of butter oil. Hopefully this will all add up to movie theatre buttered popcorn. Who knows if it will work but it will be fun to try!

We're having a casual dinner: Fish and chips, coleslaw, rolls and a nice Riesling. For dessert we'll have an iced lemon pound cake and vanilla ice cream.
