Broken ribs? Didn't you just get over a case of salmonella? What happened? In any case, get well soon:-)

Tonight it will be chouriço and peppers. I will be making a trip to my home city today so I will be able to stop at a Portuguese bakery for the good rolls. In fact it will give me a chance to stock up on all the good stuff I miss.
Happy Sunday!

We are celebratuing daughters BD: she and hubby are coming for dinner after they finish golfing. I gave her a choice: she choose Chinese, I am doing fried rice with shrimp: I did that last night and will just heat it. I am getting ready to marinate the beef for beef and broccoli; will serve egg rolls and bok chow. No cake, she isn't a sweet eater but she will get her sugar from a nice bottle of wine.

It normally would be a sack of White Castles, but they no longer are making them right. Dried up flaky burned onions and dried up bun...nope. White Castles are history.
