Ham, here. I like the idea of lobster though.

Our family had ham, baked potatoes, mac and cheese with bacon, and tres leches cake. For the drinks, I had Welch's Sparkling Rosé Grape Juice while my parents had Beringer White Sangria.

Hi! The rumors of your death were greatly exaggerated. Have you found the lubby posts on the Long Island forum? Quite a few have been worried about you. I noticed your absence and was a bit concerned. I'm glad that you're OK.

I was supposed to have steak and stuff with my son, but he split-shift sleeps since he hasn't been working. I ate food, but I don't remember what it was.

Easter steak? It wasn't my first choice, but he was supposed to cook. I couldn't argue with that.

Smile Easter 2021 foods/dinner/lunch/breakfast/appetizers...

What are your food plans for Easter 2021?

When DD was still home we used to have roasted lamb dinner. Is only her dad and me, so same decision for appetizers for Easter. Devilled eggs 3 types, small sandwiches: cucumber & dill, chicken and 2 others. Small potato salad. Small green salad. Individual trifle made in ice cream coupes.
Second easter day is leftovers and a soup.
Breakfast just coffee/tea and easter bread,it is similar to stollen.

I'm not sure yet, I do have a half a leg of lamb in the freezer, which I bought for Easter, but we now may go on a sightseeing plane tour on Easter Sunday ( fundraiser) & if we do that I may just use the pre cooked tri tip roast I have on order. I won't want to be cooking when we get home. I might make some kind of pie on Saturday.

It's just two of us; we're planning on rotisserie game hens, asparagus, home made rolls, and strawberry shortcake for dessert!
Light and tasty.

After having a Zoom Easter last year, I'm excited to be having family over for lunch again this year. We always have the same menu because my kids (now young adults) like holiday meals to always be the same! Honey Baked Ham, homemade biscuits, potato casserole, green salad (I'm allowed some creativity here), green beans and lemon cake and decorated cookies for dessert. Because it is lunch, we don't really do appetizers other than jelly beans and Peeps.

The only thing I have figured out is that breakfast will be a sticky buns. I found a new recipe for them online that I want to try out .

Dinner is usually my husband's domain on the holidays. No idea what he's planning, I doubt he's even thought about it yet.

Let me add I'm just so glad that we can have Easter with my brother this year.
