I'm so sad that you're hurting but so glad that your sense of humor remains firmly intact. <3

Awww shucks, thanks friends. I prefer Austen to Dickens though.
I’ve been invited to a fishing picnic on Sunday (means that other people fish while I lie down on a blanket and eat) so I need to make my Confetti Macaroni Salad to bring along. It has a lot of ingredients to chop so I’ll probably do it in the living room sitting down.
Tonight we’ll have macaroni salad, ranch-style beans, and smoked sausage.
Confetti salad has finely diced: pepperoncini, carrot, celery, red/green bell pepper, shallot, and baby dill pickle in a creamy dressing
I am making German pancakes and everyone can choose what they want on or in it.
Savory ones with a choice of
chives/onions
cheddar cheese
black forest ham
beer
and served with a cucumber, tomato, celery salad
OR
Sweet German pancakes served with cinnamon sugar and
unsweetened apple sauce
Raspberries
blueberries
apple or banana slices inside the pancakes.
To drink a glass of cold milk with the sweet pancakes and a beer with the savory ones.
A few slices of the Easter ham, a small wedge of the cheese pit, 2 tablespoons of coleslaw (also from Easter) and a cup of steamed sugar snap peas. A big orange for dessert.
I tried a meatless, soy free burger brand by the name of Quorn for the first time earlier tonight. Has anyone else tried these? It is much closer to a real burger flavor than Boca or Morning Star IMO. They were pretty good!
Two Quorn burgers, onion rings and watermelon. Drank Stone IPA.
