Vegetable quiche with spinach, mushrooms, onions, anaheim peppers and red bell peppers. Nothing really planned for a side, maybe some sliced cucumbers.

Crispy sauteed Bay Scallops in a white wine garlic butter sauce, grilled asparagus and artichokes, Spring baby peas, all tossed with a lite creamy wine based sauce, served over noodles.

Tomato, cucumber, and red onion salad.

A glass of wine.

Fruit salad with yogurt and shredded coconut.

Leftover Chinese vegetables and kung pao beef. Yum. MAYBE I'll cook tomorrow. My knee-back scar is 5 inches long, so I don't think I'm malingering too badly..

It seems as though my (former) little red dot can be compared to the top of a huge volcano sticking out of the sea.

A side salad as I have green onion flowers that taste amazing.
Mikala43 - are the green onion flowers purple or white? I've used garlic chive flowers in salad before, they are a pretty shade of purple. Good luck with the fish dish!

Turn those garlicky little delights into tempura appetizers.

SO changed plans. Goulash tomorrow, comfort food tonight - short pasta with smoked ham, cream, lots of herbs. Boring but good.

Thanks guys! Believe me, I was envisioning something smaller too! I didn't see the wound until I unwrapped it Wednesday.

I must be healing up well thanks to all the WFDT/magoo mojo, because it hurts a whole lot less today.

I'll have to grow some onions next year and get some of those flowers. I should have already planted them to grow them this year, and not exactly in tip-top gardening shape.

Meanwhile, I'll enjoy reading about all of your dinners.

Went to happy hour with my daughters. Had margaritas and shared nachos, guacamole, salsa and bacon-wrapped shrimp. That was dinner.
