Last day of my awful job, so I'm sure my appetite will reappear by Thanksgiving, once I've had a few days of sleep. I wish I had the energy to slow cook chicken soup overnight, but the thought of walking to the fridge for veggies, let alone slicing & dicing them is too much to bear. This weekend... I hope.

I've just mustered the energy to make 3 egg yolks with a turkey sausage for dinner... & now I'm too exhausted to care. So, for dinner... nothing. I'll try again tomorrow.

Gotta get me one of these newfangled contraptions the kids are using these days...

3 tries is a charm. After 2 failed attempts we had coconut shrimp prepared in the air fryer tonight along with Compari tomatoes and sweet corn from our frozen stash.

tonight we have a special treat so no cooking at all: one of our good friends, and is in many of our church groups is turning 75. Her husband is giving her a birthday dinner at one of our steak houses here, complete with open bar. You can't beat that. I think there will be about 16 or 18 of us. I have no idea what I will have as the place has great food period.
