yesterday's weather had me in the mood for comfort food, so the salmon & turnips have been moved to tonight. Last night was tomato soup and cheese toast.

Tonight we will most likely have a frozen pizza and maybe green salad. We are delivering Meals on Wheels today to shout ins and then it is recycling day and Aldi's so will be gone for a good part of the day and I am not going to feel like cooking or cleaning up regardless of what spoiled brat might think.

We just had our first snow too! It is wonderful!!! I shoveled this morning too Almrausch! I usually love to shovel but it was a heavy wet snow this morning. Ouch my back!

Tonight to go with our weather I am making a batch of ham and potato soup. I have some biscuits to serve with the soup.
Happy Friday!

Ham is in the smoker. Pasta with onion, garlic, mushrooms, ham chunks. The jury is still out on cream or olive oil.

Probably something light. Girlfriend wants to go to a Greek restaurant. I may do a large salad with gyro meat.

I’m making chili and biscuits. I sent away for Durkee chili mix, which was my old favorite spice mix, before it disappeared from the shelves. I hope it’s as good as I remember.
