well, the trees are gone! i have more yard than i know what to do with. its amazing. ill post before and after pictures later. im gonna plan out some sweet landscaping now.

I'm doing the opposite, killing grass and planting more trees. The older I get the more I hate mowing, if it weren't for a septic field and power line my whole property would be wooded.

i can definitely appreciate low maintenance. the area with the trees was very low maintenance. but it wasnt very attractive and that's the goal right now.

FWIW, I sprayed a 30’x40’ area of lawn with roundup a few days ago, I’m planting trees on it and covering the soil with leaves and pine needles. I’m slowly decreasing my lawn area every year.
Sure hope you don't live in a wildfire prone area.

I hate Monsanto as a corporation, and I also ardently support organic pest and weed control and oppose the genetic modification of food crops to be "Round Up ready" (resistant to glyphosate).

That said, the main ingredient in Round Up, glyphosate, if used as directed, is not a significant health hazard.
