Don't hate Texas because of "Dubya." Texas is a fine state with a lot of diverse opinions on many topics. Visit sometime and decide for yourself. I'm from Oklahoma and have lived here for 20 years; Texas has been good to me and I will not 'dis on Texas.

Fort Worth is one of the nicest cities in the entire United States.

Catching up on all the comments here---Synopsis, thanks for some beautiful Texas pics----I had to LOL though because I am trained to spot "Hidden Mickeys". Your photo with the tables and chairs against a railing with the mountains in the background has a couple of them. I spotted them right off--gosh, no matter where I go, I'll probably never shake the Disney stuff....but that's ok--sometimes fantasy over reality is the only way to go!

There used to be a sign on I-95 in Ct. which said, "Welcome to New Haven. The birthplace of George W. Bush". I don't know if it still there. From what I read, people kept trashing that sign.

I'm slightly confused---what does George Bush, Jeb Bush, George Bush Sr, or any other Bush with a capital B have to do with Florida or Texas as a place to live. Unless one of them is going to be your next door neighbor--maybe I'll even give you them living in the same neighborhood--what do they possibly have to do with living in Florida Or Texas??? and don't say that they influence the politics of the state, because I'll tell you that every state has somebody in politics that you are not gonna like. Let's skip the Bush rants please...and thanks in advance Back to the sdignificant things like demographics, weather, economics, education, infrastructure, quality of living, etc.

Does this mean that if you can't complain about the Bush's, there is nothing in Texas to talk about that makes it either a good place to live or a bad place to live?
