I sat next to Tug McGraw at a ball game once.

I hung out with Rex Reed in college, and I knew Mel Tillis when he was still a wannabe. I worked with Robert W. Morgan and Rush Limbaugh before they became nationally known. But once people become famous, they avoid me.

Olympic silver-medalist ice-dancer Tanith Belbin is my neice.

My mother went to high school with guitarist Les Paul, but she must have broken his heart, because he never came around when he was in town.

Great thread.

Kelly Ripa (The Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ) , Rev Run and family (at a diner in Ramsey, NJ *Got an autograph*), Kimora Lee Simons (at a soccer field in Hackensack, NJ), Jack Nicholson (Cape May, NJ), Amerie the singer (at my sisters day care in Paramus *She was smokin*) and that model who won Americas Next Top Model- Jaslene Gonzalez (at my high school http://stacktv.stack.com/video.aspx?videoID=2431307001_223)

Oh and I've seen the set for "The Sopranos" about 4 times during the seasons running. (3 times at the Lodi, NJ strip club, and 1 time in Lyndhurst, NJ)

Remembered one other (I have lots of stories, lol)--Billy Joel was at the Spare Rib one time I ate there. We were a few tables away.

I met Brett Favre in a hospital once. He gave me some free stuff and signed a jersey that he gave me.

A few weeks ago I met a few of the hosts on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. That was kind of fun because it was a little bit of a role reversal. Instead of us asking them for pictures, they were asking us. I was there during work with the DC Fire Dept. It was kind of a PR thing where we spent eight hours helping unload sprinkler pipes and other random things. Right before we left most of the hosts and VIP guests showed up. So a few of them and the Washington Post and Washington Times kept asking for pictures and interviews.

Those are the two bigger ones where I actually talked to them.

Another story: My sister and I were friends with this brother and sister across town when I was 13. We went to school with them. Their dad knew the Mets and the Giants, so the summer of 1997 I got to go to all the Mets games I wanted to and sit in the players' families seats right behind the dugout. Now, I'm a Braves fan, but it was awesome. The players would come right up to us and say hi and carry on conversations with us. They obviously knew my friend more. They went over his house sometimes. It felt pretty cool to have Mike Piazza come over to us to talk to us (even though I could never stand him, lol. But still, he's a major league player).

Years ago I had a friend who knew Stryper the pioneer Christian heavy metal band. In 1990 my dad had a severe heart attack( he survived and thankfully he is still around) She asked Robert Sweet who is the drummer of the band pray for my dad and he gladly done so. Also in 1967 when I was in 7th grade my parents went out to a nightclub and they met Jerry Blavat the popular Philly jock known as the "Geator with the Heater". My mom shown him my school picture and he commented that I was very pretty. Years later I met him personally myself at a sock hop reunion and asked him if he remembered my parents. He did and then he said I was still a pretty lady. That was real cool. Even though I never met him ,Vice President Joe Biden's wife Jill was in the same graduation class as my sister. I probably passed by her many times in the school hallways. Jill Biden and my sister were seniors and I was a freshman.

I never really met anyone that's famous.

I think I saw Alice Cooper at a grocery store once.
