either way, the point remains that having been issued a sidearm in the military does not give someone the expertise and insight needed in order to advocate or create gun control laws.
Yep, he's not alone in his elitist attitude. The bulk of gun control is drafted by folks with no expertise on much except politics. I'd rather not trust my saftey or rights to such people.

There was a school shooting in Germany not too long ago. Germany is a place where it is hard to get a gun and yet it happened anyway. The man who took on such a shooting said it was fun and he wanted to do it a second time. Restrictive gun control failed in this instance. The person who had the gun had alot of evil in his heart. You could put a knife in his hand and he would do the same thing.
There was a school stabbing in Japan in June 2002. No gun used. A knife. Gun control doesn't guarantee protection from criminals, especially if the criminals don't care.
I think gun rights been restricted in recent years because the legislature is bored.
