Aldi's in Greer on WH has begun to move on the construction. There is black construction fencing up, two pieces of heavy equipment sitting on the property, and last couple days car/trucks on site along with a construction company sign erected now.
The former Rolled Pita has a new tenant; Crazy 8 restaurant. Quite possibly the dumbest name for a restaurant ever, as one would have no idea whatsoever what kind of food they serve with that name. There's a picture of a kabob on the sign though, so maybe Lebanese again?

Where is this at? I've never heard of Rolled Pita but if there's kabob/kebab's involved I want to know!
Noticed a new sign up on WHB where the old Silver Chair? restaurant used to be (before that it was a pizza place). Called 'Key West Seafood and Catering'. So I'm assuming it'll be a seafood type restaurant? The location is in that small strip mall near BJU elementary area.
We went to that new place Cheers on Rushmore off Wade Hampton Blvd. It is right behind the KMart and it used to be the old Irashai/Tanoshi Sushi. The food is amazing so I can see why it is so busy on Thursdays-Saturdays. They said they are starting seafood specials on Saturdays and will have all you can eat crab legs soon.

Wow, really? It was discussed here many times several years back. Cliff Notes version: a Lebanese guy named George opened up a Lebanese "hole in the wall" (and I use that term affectionately) and the food was awesome; better than Pita House and word started getting around, but George made the mistake of moving out of his location and buying the old Capris and dumping a ton of money into it which made him jack up his prices; haven't been in the new place since he switched locales two years ago and we used to get take our from Rolled Pita once a week.
