I wonder if the center could pull JC Penney's into this shopping center. There needs to be more clothes stores so that they can play off each other. Maybe a Ross or TJ Maxx?

You are right.
Thats a good idea. I could see TJMaxx going there and JCP really needs a new store. Belk has a nice store in Easley already and I can't see them leaving. Greenwood recently got a TJMaxx so they are expanding. I saw surveyors a while back on the lot across 123 from Kohls. That would be a great place for a Target.

I wish that someone like Olive Garden would look at the property in front of Arby's in Powdersville. It is cleared and ready to go, near the Interstate and in a high traffic area....Cracker Barrel across the street seems to be thriving and a hotel was recently built.....

Would Red Lobster/Olive Garden/Longhorn do better closer to Easley?

Traffic around I-85/SC-153 needs significant improvement. When QuikTrip opens, there needs to be a traffic signal at the intersection with the frontage road.

That is anyone's guess CK. 2 things I see: 1. Traffic in Easley near Wal-Mart can at times be every bit as challenging and 2. Perhaps some improvements, as you suggest, would allow it to do just fine there (as does Cracker Barrel now.) I guess I would like something closer to my location in Powdersville. (It would not be a bad drive either way....if they build it, we will come.)

Well, since JC Penny's is in the same shopping center as Belk, I doubt if they will move.
As far as Hwy. 153 they just installed a new light at the corner of Hwy. 153 & Roe Rd!

I can confirm this.. Goodwill has a terrible lease agreement at there current location lease is up at the end of the year. Supposedly it will be a center like they have on Haywood Rd with a Job Connection and Subway

Default Goodwill

So that would put us having a Jersey-Mike's and a Subway pretty much in the same shopping center when Subway is already on 123. Not to be negative but that's a little too much in my opinion. Also, there is a Goodwill already too. Seems like too many empty stores are about to come our way!
