Wouldn't bother me at all. Less chance you'll be surrounded by noisy neighbors, more open space and greenery, maybe some nice dogwalking routes in the vicinity.

Sure... my perspective especially changed when Hubs and I visited his family in England, and while taking a walk in my father in law's neighborhood, there was a small church with a cemetery and a block away was the neighborhood pub. I was told it wasn't that uncommon and thinking about it, I was charmed by it, because it had a community feel. Plus the church was a couple centuries old or something, so that was pretty cool.

I wouldn't hesitate to rent near a cemetery, but I wouldn't buy near one. My concern would be the resale value.

For all those saying they wouldn't mind, does the haunting aspect not worry you?

Not at all. You are renting. If you decide some spirit has nothing better to do than single you out for a haunt, you can move.

No... but to each their own. If you know it would spook you, why put yourself through that? You may know "rationally" there's no such thing as ghosts, but us humans aren't always rational.

Except, no one from the cemetry, is going too use foul lanuage, as you are getting hit in the head, with a golf ball.

Great place to play frisbee, or hide and seek. It is like living next to a park, only not so noisy. If you grow flowers in your yard, you could start a side business selling htem to cemetary visitors. If you ever shoot an intruder, you cna just bury them quickly before the police arrive. if it is an odler cemetary it can be fun to explore and look for the oldest tombstone, or the most interesting nname or saying. if you have a date and need some flowers quickly, You can just grab a bouquet and replace it later. Room to let your dog go for a run in the evening if no one is around. Fun expansiion space if you are having a party that gets too big to fit in your yard. Easy to give people direciotns ("Nest to the cemetary"). Fun place to project scary movies when you have friends or a date over, jsut run a power cord from your house, set up a screen and projector in your hard facing the cemetary and have a neat drive in with scare effect for ghost type movies. Or maybe a romantic place to watch the mocvie Ghost.

All kinds of advantages to living there in additioanl to quiet unoffensive neighbors who do not measure your lawn. .
