It's very hard for me to think of something I like about Houston. It sure isn't the weather, that's what I hate the most. I guess I can say, eating and shopping, there are tons of places to shop, if you have a job.

a_fl_vol is on a distinguished road
Relocated from Florida approx 1 month ago. Here are a few things I like about Houston:

1. Homeowners Insurance is 1/3rd the cost of FL.
2. My car insurance is 59% less
3. Homes are more than half the price of FL.
4. Gas is .25 cents cheaper a gallon.
5. More space.

Man I love the just about everything the culture, the food, the fact we are close to a beach, the beautiful women, the fact that houston its like its own state, cheap gas, cheap housing , great colleges and the skyline.

I guess you mean that " homes are LESS than half the price of FL"...
