That is true, Bush spied on the American people w/ illegal wiretaps and he's the darling of ignorant and moronic people. Reagan lied, dealt w/ terrorists and funneled arms & money to an illegal group, yet he's marveled and idolized by even people more stupid than Bush lovers.

Yes, this is a free country...but do you realize we have laws...We have IMMIGRATION laws that illegal aliens made the CHOICE to violate?
Or are you just too darn blind to see?
Go tell any legal immigrant that their work was in vain, that waiting to come and live here illegally was a waste of time and tell me how they feel about it.
I'd imagine that in the mind's eye of those who support arresting non-violent immigrants aren't picturing ICE agents storming a house with a family of Canadians or Irishmen without a green card... though I could be wrong. Maybe they're all about hunting down non-violent Canadians, too, for all I know.
Regardless, I think that it's hypocritical to call yourself a free country and then arrest people for not dealing with the proper bureaucracy. The lack of enforcement of it wouldn't detract me from voting for any president (that's not to say that I support Obama; I don't).

What does that have to do with arresting these people? Are you insinuating that they're all squatters? I'd figure that most of them probably pay rent somewhere.

Laws can be (and often are) wrong. Immigration laws in the United States are wrong. Non-violent people shouldn't be imprisoned, and people shouldn't have to navigate a ridiculous bureaucracy to come here.
