The problem is there IS no "conservative" or "liberal" point of view on illegal immigration. Liberals are just more scared of being called racist, xenophobic, etc., so they're less vocal.
Capitalism, the darling God of big business conservativism, is the root cause of illegal immigration. Liberals are the enablers, providing hand wringing prose about humanitarianism and the need to be multicultural and pay to support the poor of OTHER nations at the expense of our own.

America can do anything when it puts its mind to it. Do you have no faith in our country that we could not handle deporting all the illegals?
We can do it - the government has no WILL to do it right now, but the people are now up-in-arms, and finally, something will be done - in fact, things are already happening, even if it's state by state. It's obvious that most Americans want this madness stopped, according to the polls, and seen by the states that are enforcing the laws by demand from their citizens.
Illegal immigration is now a big topic to those who are running for president; it was not that way in previous elections - finally, the American people are fed up, and demand change.
