ReviewJournal.com - Vegas Voice - SHOOTING STARS: Real-life Las Vegas in reality spotlight

BTW: I saw a piece on 60 Minutes last night about Miami. I know you can't believe very much 60 Minutes says, but people who think there is something strange or sleazy about Las Vegas should take a look at Miami, New Orleans, New Yawk City, Chicago, Detroit, etc. etc....

Hello,

I am in the process of relocating to Las Vegas and hoping that someone could recommend the best places to live in Vegas for a young family, looking for an affordable yet safe place to live.

Thanks

Hi! My husband and I are thinking of move to Las Vegas in a couple of months, we want to buy a house and start a family but I have read bad things about it, we live in Illinois and just the moving will cost around $3500 so we don't want to make the wrong decision and regret it later.
Can someone tell us How is life in Las Vegas for a young family????

Life is however you make it. There's people living in luxurious master planned communities and there's people destitute surrounded by drug dealers and gang members and everything in between. Where you live, what your hobbies are and what your general attitude towards life will determine your answer.
