Facts are, expansion teams SUCK for at least the first 5 years. It doesn't matter what sport and its especially true in football. The Jags and Panthers SUCKED for the first 5 years then magically got good for a few years after then went back to sucking.

Raider fans will not switch to a new LA team. The stigma with negativity with the Raiders is far too appealing. I mean, where else can felons and wannabe felons band together as a community regardless of color or creed? This is the only time they have a common cause...the unholy Chiefs!!!

Anaheim Ram fans will remain Ram fans because they were here a long time. I suppose people my age (25) and under are much more likely to support a new team since we don't really remember the Raiders or Rams being in LA outside of old films and heresy. However, this is not the demographic the NFL wants nor any business since we do not spend enough money compared to the 34-50 crowd.

It will be a miserable failure and the lack of support will be obvious. I doubt they will actually be in LA as well. More like the City of Industry / Walnut (traffic) Jammers! Their logo can be a car accident!
How can you say they are not true fans when Dodger Stadium sells out almost every game? The football problem, they need a decent place to play. Build it and the fans will support it!!!

The Chargers arent going anywhere. Why would the NFL and the Spanos family want to leave a city like San Diego? LA is an over crowded toilet bowl.
The fan base here is strong and getting stronger. I know there have been blackouts, but that is a sign of the DEPRESSION we are in. Even when there is a blackout there are still over 60,000 fans showing up. Its not like the Jaguars where 30,000 show. The NFL would be STUPID to turn its back on a city like San Diego.

Also why would the Spanos family want to partner up/SHARE MORE OF THE PROFITS/ with someone just to move an hour and a half away? They will make more money if they can make a stadium in San Diego work and that is the bottom line. That is why they didnt leave years ago!

San Diego deserves a team, Jacksonville does not, heck Oakland doesn't. They had 11 straight blackouts before their last game, don't tell me they are good, loyal fans, not only do the Raiders usually blackout, but they get like 30-40k a game, pathetic. We blackout, but we get 60k every single game, we deserve our team

Certainly Jacksonville doesn't have a reason to have a team..

"LA is an over-crowded toilet bowl"? Do you really want to go there? And start a comparison between San Diego and Los Angeles? I think you tend to loose your head when the Chargers are the subject. If San Diego looses the Chargers is will be merely a financial decision; the bottom line is money in capitalism not any sense of loyalty toward a city or stadium.

Really? Plenty of tickets available for Clipper, Angel, Kings, and Ducks games. If you want to ignore 4 of the 6 major sports teams in the LA / Anaheim area, go ahead. Laker games weren't sold out back when they weren't a top tier team. Regarding the Dodgers, I'm willing to bet the will not sell out every game next season. They are pretty much guaranteed to be one of the worst teams next year due to the McCourt divorce drama. If you are a Dodger fan, you want the Miss' to win the Dodgers so she can sell it. If the Mr wins, he is going to hold onto it and keep the Dodgers a god awful team.

The Jacksonville Jaguars might be moving the team there.

Ok dammit, one I can ignore. Two in a row, I can't take it: It's lose and loses.
