I see it with my own two eyes.

If you prefer to make excuses for people, that's your prerogative.

You and the other two wackos are in the minority.

I not only have been homeless I have worked with them for years and for the most part they are not all druggies or drunks.
Problems with shelters is the lack of security, and the tight living conditions involved. How well do you do with some one next to you snoring all night? Or how about catching people rummaging through your pockets?
These people have trust issues for a good reason, some due to the system that pushed them there.
The problem is not government, it's called greed.
Low-income housing gets abused by some of those not low income at all, people simply abusing the system.
I lived in areas trying to find any sort of work available, and it's worse if you have no address to work with.
Now that I am doing better I help those I can .

I never said 'all,' but most are lazy addicts and drunks who never had the desire to hold down a job.

And too many who are mentally unbalanced are duckheads who don't want to take their medication.

Well said. I worked with homeless women with children for a long time and almost all of them would refuse to apply for homeless services because a visit from CPS was inevitable with a high likelihood of having their kids taken and put in foster care.

You might want to look up the definitions of "opinion" and of "fact", thus far you have offered your opinion.

Speaking of “excuses”, what’s yours for not posting your “proof”?

Still waiting.

Sincerely yours,

Everybody sees it with their own two eyes, if you guys deny the obvious guess what that makes you look like.

.... individuals who look beyond superficial memes, hyperbole, myths, and stereotypes to investigate the realities of a very complex disaster?

Ok.

It's called 'ocular proof.' Stop denying yourself that gift.
