Of course he "feels great." He's on a STEROID.

I was on Prednisone for poison ivy a few weeks ago and wow, I felt wonderful! But it didn't last.

I think the problem is that if businesses open, people are going to go. Keep them closed and no can go. There are no easy answers...but it seems unrealistic to think that if places are kept open that people are going to follow rules at all times. Indoor dining seems to be under the most scrutiny right now.

I was given dex as a result of serious lung damage during chemo thanks to one of my drugs. I got that via IV during chemo, and then had oral prednisone in between treatments.

Aside from eating everything that wasn't nailed down, I felt awesome. Couldn't breathe, but felt great!

sort of reminds me. Remember back in the day when governor Patrick actually ordered roads to be closed due to winter storms? I heard of places that tried ignoring that at the time.

The show lives on (with new seasons!) on Netflix.

We went to one of our pre-covid usuals and every table was filled with no additional spacing between tables. Tried to do to Yard House at Market Street and even where they expanded outdoor seating, they really seemed to be jamming people in. We ended up just getting take out and having our dinner date at home instead.

We’ve eaten out before, but now it feels like volume is starting to get quite heavy. It was, however, a really nice Sat evening so people were likely out trying to squeeze in a last day or two outside.

We likely will refrain from dining out from now on. Just not worth the risk. I’m fine with takeout.

I stopped by a local restaurant to pick up some takeout the other day and was shocked to see people sitting elbow-to-elbow at the (indoor) bar. It's going to be a long time before I will be ready for anything like that.

Now assuming that T doesn't take a turn for the worse, are our ERs going to be overrun by people in the first stages of the infection demanding the same treatment?

How? Does the virus disappear because we locked down for 4 to 6 weeks? We did this before in March and April and the virus didn't disappear. Remember it was just 15 days they told use. Influenza hasn't disappeared and we have had to deal with that for centuries.

I just took a road trip throughout many parts of the country, some with mask mandates others without. I can tell you most wore masks, but it almost makes them seem they are safer. They wear their mask expect others and don't expect to ever be infected. Mask wearers are out in droves thinking now its safe to go out.
