This is how I feel currently. I have taken great pains to avoid any and all such situations where I'm indoors where people are unmasked. This is exactly why I have taken issue with my workplace's policy of allowing people to remove their masks if they're in a meeting room, as long as they're 6' apart. I for one do not plan to attend such meetings in person.

Oof. At my work, you are only allowed to take your mask off if you are alone in an office with the door closed.

Otherwise, you have to wear a mask (unless you are eating) and maintain 6 feet even outdoors.

And we're getting tested twice a week if you are at work more than 3 or more times a week, and weekly if you are in-person 1-2 times a week.

Just a note telling my test came back negative. I had no doubts.

My nose bled like a stuck pig! I am still blowing out clots today. You're welcome Massachusetts.

In MA anyway, I'm sure Baker has that kind of data. They aren't sharing that with the public though.

doesn't matter what government officials say, half the people aren't going to wear a mask.

Is it really surprising to people that there's resistance to the mask wearing? People are doing all sorts of things they shouldn't be doing. I am surprised by the amount of elderly people I see when i go out to eat. Technically no one should be going out to eat right now. Try to mandate that one.

Yes - I find it quite disturbing how the public is left in the dark. They should know what percentages are traced to clusters where and what is community transmission that they can't pin down further. It would be very useful for us to know where transmission occurs in order to avoid it - but I guess that would hurt business.
On occasion the news tells us about clusters - but it's not systematic...

That's part of the problem. Covid has become a scarlet letter these days, and any mention that a case broke out at a specific business would tank future business, even after they did a deep cleaning and after they followed the rules. They'd likely also endure some ongoing social shaming from the more extreme coronaphobics.
