If you're referring to lawns in Phoenix, I will definitely have to take pictures of lawns here at all times of the year. There's two types of grass - winter grass and summer grass. So grass, if you do decide to have it in your yard, stays green year round.

I'll talk to you, perhaps this summer, when it's 110 degrees here with 10% humidity, and it's in the high 90's in Minneapolis with 70% humidity. And yes, it can hit 100+ in Minneapolis. Argue with me if you wish!

I can't believe people are complaining about a week of cold weather after having one of the warmest March/April on record. This spring has been BEAUTIFUL. Two years ago we were watching our daughter's golf tournaments in 35 degree weather, this year they have almost all been above 70 and the rest in the mid 60's. We are NOT complaining AT ALL. We needed that rain we got so we were very thankful.

The extended forecast shows upper 70's for next weekend.

No where in the world will have perfect weather 365 days/year so get over it.

This type of thinking is exactly what I dislike about some Minnesotans. Sacraficing weather now on the event that we recently had 'good' weather. It's not like there is a weather bank out there and we have an allotted number of 'pleasant days'...

I enjoyed the decent weather in April but that doesn't mean I should be ok with the garbage we've had. We're approaching half way through May and it's still cold.

It's called 'denial'.

Exactly. Just like every winter when we get a strech for 2 weeks of sub-15 degree weather and everybody just responds with "That's Minnesota for ya", "At least our summers are nice"

Nothing like a topic on the weather to get Minnesotans all frazzled up.

Spring and fall weather is notoriously crazy. Up and down, hot one day, cold the next. In another couple of weeks you'll probably all be complaining that it's too hot and humid. I have a couple of outdoor events I'm hoping to attend next weekend and the weekend after, so I'm just hoping for no rain.

Nope. I'd never, ever comlain about heat or humidity. I love it. Strange, I know, but I was a landscaper every summer from May-September from age 16-22... I think I strive for heat.

I was merely complaining about the inconsistency, and believe me I know it's a part of Spring, especially in Minnesota. It's nice having a place to vent!

And winter is notoriously predictable (snow).

I will cross my fingers and also toes for your weekends for no rain.
