I personally find it amusing that people complain. I miss the weather up there, but I had to move across the country to make a living.

Maybe we Georgians are tougher than the remaining Minnesotans now.

Oh no, the weather isnt favorable and its completely beyond your control. What do you intend to do about it? Nothing? Thats what I thought. Find something more constructive to do with your time.

No, no whining at all here. Just simply stating the fact, that's all. Deny all you want but I still have seen people buying light therapy boxes during this time of year. SAD! That got something to do with this weather.

Oh God I hate that. Paul Douglas et al are the worst at it. There's some cosmic force in Minnesota that will punish us with lousy weather if it's ever too nice.

I think it's the abundant Lutheran guilt here. Same reason we have such ridiculous liquor laws -- we don't want to enjoy anything too much.

I want temps in 80s, wind under 5 mph and no gloomy sky. I don't care if it rains, I don't care if mosquitos are out in full force.......Just a nice decent spring/summer to enjoy my bike ride and the lakes. Period!

You will have that for 90% of the summer-but it is still spring and too early to expect that weather here.

I don't think it's really the weather that I am complaining about, it's the inconsistency.

We just experienced 4 inches of Snow. In May. The largest May snowfall for here in over 80 years. That was followed by the least amount of snowfall on record for March/April.

Last September was the warmest on record while August was one of the coolest? (I might be wrong, there's something telling me it was cool September and a warm October)... Either way, it's the inconsistency that sucks. I'm not complaining about the weather, I know what to expect.

It's the 80 degrees one day down to 18 a week later and then back up to 60 2 days after that.

Minnesota has been that way since long before people occupied its borders.

Welcome to the center of a large continent, along with its associated weather patterns.

FWIW, we had friends planning an outdoor party this past weekend, and it was in the upper 80's for much of the week (I think we might have even crossed 90 at some point), but on Saturday night it got down into the 40's. You can have weather issues even in Atlanta.
