Sounds like Flagstaff Arizona.

Surprising the huge difference between Phoenix and Flagstaff.

It wouldn't surprise me if next week brought high humidity and record-breaking highs. Not because it's in the forecast, but because MN weather -- especially in May -- can be crazy like that.

Looks like it won't be raining tomorrow, but 40s and windy isn't ideal baseball weather.

What a joke of a state.
Maybe you should move to the other Duluth (Georgia). No snow there, just punishing heat and humidity.

The heat and humidity isn't that bad, really. Summer lasts a lot longer and it does get more humid, but it wasn't as bad as I expected when I moved to the Atlanta metro five years ago.

Oh, and Duluth, GA does get snow, just like we do here on the other side of the Atlanta metro. Not a LOT of snow, but we had three "snowstorms" this past winter, I think. I actually had to turn around on an icy road once ... the temp had been below freezing for a week, and the ice actually stayed on the roads.

I agree with this 200%, and I hate it when people say "Oh this is why we love Minnesota"

Though I love Minneapolis and the surrounding suburbs and area.

It's the best way to put things into perspective. I do it everyday for my own city.

I lived in MN for 43 years, and I recall one Memorial Day weekend of seeing snow flurries, but no accumulation. Melted on impact. But still..............

And I was not living in Northern MN either, south central rather.

Weatherunderground.com will also tell you what high's and low's have occured in your city for as many as 25-30 years, and how late it snowed in any particular year.

Thank God MN doesn't have huge altitude differences like out here. I was up in northern Nevada in late May one time, at a city with 7000 feet in altitude, and I woke up to a foot of snow on the ground.
I looked at the historical temps for Mankato on Memorial Day and the record low temp for that day was 46. There couldn't have been snow ever on Memorial Day. The latest recorded snow in the Twin Cities was May 20th and that was in 1925.
