University of Montana Grizzlies did all right this season......the finals (or semi?) were on ESPN...... Sam Houston proved too hard to beat, but they sure did come up from the rear and I was so proud of their playing abilities.... GO GRIZ!!!

yummmmm! Fudge! My weakness over the holidays. But last night at a solstice party someone but a liquor into it & it just wasn't the same. Velveteena...... that's a first, never heard of that.

ElkHunter, that is so cool that you make it for the VA. That spirit is what the holidays are all about.

Yes, that's a relief! The light at the end of the winter tunnel is growing brighter.

Happy Chanuka and Merry Christmas! You guys are a feisty bunch of individualists, always fun to visit! Have a great Holiday Season, everybody, and don't forget the glögg (yes, Klingon blood wine) recipe to celebrate the season: red wine, port, sugar, allspice, and cloves, heated up with sliced almonds and raisins! Cheers!

Sounds good. Jasper and I will make some. Went to Fairmont Springs today, beautiful tree. Had lunch, watched the kids swim. Really nice.

I think something fell off of me.

It was nice today, hit exactly 40 degrees. Was still 37 the last time I looked at the weather console. So a few minutes ago, I realized I needed a can of copenhagen. I figured, what the heck, I'll just jump on the 4 wheeler and run down to the convienience store, it's only about a half mile. So I put on a long sleeve shirt and threw a hoodie over top. Grabbed my scotch hat and gloves and took off. About half way there, I realized I might have been better off had I fired up the truck. hahaha It was cold.

Got home and checked the temp. It's already dropped to 17 degrees and that's a bit cold with just a hoodie on. I should have at least, grabbed my insulated hoodie or put a coat on over top of the hoodie. As soon as I thaw out, I'll do an inventory and see what fell off of me half way there.
