If you have CB preference, will your log number read so? Like, "CB" at the end of the number or a "P" for preference? Why do some people have a, "NP" for no preference at the end of their log numbers while others - also without preference don't?
Every lottery is conducted slightly differently. In most cases, there is no indication by your log # of preference. Most people just know if they are in the same CB as the building that is being built or if they have Municipal Employee or Handicapped preference.
Stormgal, I've heard for other lotteries that you get a CB put on your log if that's the case. I know for a fact I have a CB preference, but my number doesn't include those letters. Food for thought.
I walked by 461 Dean last night and noticed that the external construction elevator is now completely down (was still on the building last week) and they are doing finishing work in the lobby (there is a chandelier already up). Still lots to do but they are making real progress.
Also, this article says that affordable housing units for 461 Dean will start being filled in November and marketing for retail apartments will go out in October: https://commercialobserver.com/2016/...in-and-boxing/
Anything under 3000 in general is excellent for big new complexes. My log number for Hunters' Point South living was 2,xxx and I had no preference at all.
you can have a low log number, cb preference get called and still be rejected because of the many reason that HPD or the Management Company gives. So you get your hopes up to be shot down.
its killing me not knowing anything i went for my interview aug 22nd and i've become obsessed and search up the building everyday. Now that i know the building will start leasing market price in october makes me wonder if im in or not im sure they wont wait til november and say hey we have your apartment come move in today lol grrrr
