Thanks for the photos. They clearly demonstrate why our railroads are in serious trouble. We will never have the money to duplicate the splendor of the past - we cannot even afford to maintain the old bridges and tunnels.

I don't know what it is about it, but I think the Tunkhannock viaduct is one of the most stunning person-built structures that one can see.

It's certainly hard not to be impressed by it, isn't it, dravo? How nice it would be to see rail service return, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen here.
