Because the law says you can marry a person of the opposite gender. I don't think we should start changing the definitions of marriage to suit a vocal minority.

Now...for you: Should we allow multiple wives/husbands? Maybe 5-10 people all married to each other? How about a brother/sister? Mother/son?

There are all kinds of regulations around marriage. Why have any rules?

The law in Nebraska says that you may not hunt whales within the boudaries of the state, in Chico California you get fined $500 for setting off a nuclear device...

Some laws are very questionable..

No becuase their are certain legal issues (mostly related to state aid for spouses) that would make it messy.

But there are all sorts of laws that are overturned becuase they aren't fair whether a minority brings it up or not. I'm sure that back in the south MOST of the people didn't mind having slaves and the minority (not meaning black in this case) wanted to get rid of it. So if the (wrong) majority wanted slavery, why get rid of it? Because it's wrong.

I have another question for you.

If it's ok for only 2 people to get married, what difference does gender make?

Ok basically what you are saying is that we should not change laws for a vocal minority? Well then according to your definition there should still be slavery, blacks, hispanics, and women shouldn't have any political power, we can perfectly legally kill blacks, and MLK was some fool fighting for the minorities.

Nope. Men can't choose the color of their skin.

Come up with a real argument, will you?

Tell me kdbrich, when did you decide that you were straight? And what was the big reason why you decided that you were not gay?

Are you an alcoholic? If not, when did you choose not to be?

This is just a bit of it.
Scans find gays’ feminine side is in the brain

Scientists investigating human sexuality have found that the brains of homosexuals have structural and functional differences from those of “straight” people.
Lesbians appear to have a lower proportion of grey matter in their brains than straight women, giving their brains a more “male-like” structure.
The brains of gay men appear to have structural similarities to those of heterosexual women. They also exhibit the same powerful response as straight women to the sex hormones released in male sweat.
The research comes amid growing interest in how variations in brain structure are linked to human behaviour.

Happy? A real argument
