I'd have to say the automobile was the greatest invention. You can't get anywhere in my town without a car.
In my world it is the greatest invention so why are you questioning my answer? There is no need because
no one said it had to be the greatest invention in your world........
In your world it is a vehicle, in the world of those who are not you it is not a vehicle and some don't even own a vehicle.
In the town I live in we get around just fine without a vehicle.

The small shopping carts some grocery stores are starting to use. It is only a quarter the size of a regular shopping cart. This is a very important invention as most men are not allowed to push a full size shopping cart thru the store without wife supervision.
