We sneak like Belushi in Animal House.. the scene girls dorm.. around the drive-in for fogged up windows and rock-in car.. beat on the hood or trunk and run like laughing or during Halloween show wear mask and peek into fogged up car windows...

This afternoon I installed a new rope and spring recoil unit on an old McLane sidewalk edger and when my halogen shop light blew, I opened the end of the barn to let some light in but the sun was so bright, and hot, I had to close the door. I remember a time when I did not need so much light to repair small things.

Yes I'm so old I remember when there was much more light in this world.

No dining room tables in my early life, so I did that for my kid. We slept under the table one night. Tick one off my list. When I bought a tent, we put it up in the living room and slept in it, too.

I'm so old I remember being drafted into the Navy and having a 7 digit Navy ID number issued to you in Navy Boot camp ( Oct 65)

While still in boot camp, new recruits after us had the letter "B" in front of their numbers as the Navy had used up all the numbers and had to devise a new numbering system.

I was drafted into the US Army in 66.

Draftees got serial numbers that started with US like US12345678.
Enlisted got serial numbers that started with RA like RA12345678.
