I am totally stressed about taking on more than can handled in a work situation. I could refuse to do it, but someone would suffer and I can't live with that. I have a serious moral dilemma. I know what I am going to do, but I will pay a personal price and that is stressful.
Just because we have had a string of 80 degree days, does not mean its time to walk the streets of the neighborhood, with your friends, all night. You are still not out of the woods, YET, missy. You still have 2 classes to pass and a senior graduation project REQUIREMENT that has to be done before you graduate in June....get it together.

I made my reservations for my flight up north back in Feb. to save some $$. At the time, I decided to go ahead and book under the assumption I would check my bag and, if I got a suitcase that I could carry on, I'd just change the ticket. Well, I can do that, no problem. However, they will NOT credit my card for the $50 they charged me to check the darned thing, but they'll GLADLY give me a credit towards another flight. Yeh, right. I go north once a year, whether I need to or not. What if I decide not to use this particular airline again? I'm out $50. So they got me. Lesson learned. Think I'll go back to Jet Blue and forget this "new" airline.
I received a Jury summons for county court and have to appear next month!
I don't mind serving duty but I'm getting ready for an out of town trip a few days later and don't want to waste my time instead of getting ready for the trip.
The checkout lane at the store is NOT a library! If you want to read that magazine – buy one and take it with you, don’t just hold up the line while you discover that some celebrity kissed an alien from a UFO. It’s NOT news and you should know better! STOP IT and move on.
Ggggrrrrrr... a stupid parent that drags their sick child all over the place, and then wonders why they're even sicker. Even worse, they complain to everyone about how their sick child is affecting them..!

All the big fuss about a "foreign" company's problems with their car, but why no investigation into the domestic manufacturers policies? DS has a 2006 Ford Fusion that has developed a "squeak" in the front end when turning. Upon inspection, it seems this is being caused by a crack in the sub-frame assembly caused by a defective corrosion protection design, something that was pointed out to the dealers in a Technical Service Bulletin in November of 2006. Since it was only a TSB and not a recall, the instructions from the manufacturer were basically, "If a customer comes in with this problem, AND the car is still under the original, new car warranty, it is to be repaired at no charge." Extended warranties do not count. No instructions to "Inspect and monitor these vehicles when brought in for service to detect the problem before major damage occurs." No "Extension of warranty to cover this problem." Nothing. Now you may think that a "squeak" is not a problem, but a cracked subframe assembly could lead to loss of steering control if someone doesn't get the squeak checked and the assembly breaks. DS bought the car new, has always had the proper maintenance performed and had the problem checked out as soon as the noise became consistent so it could be checked. Unfortunately, his last job was over an hour from home and he has racked up 92,000 miles, so no warranty. And to top that off, he has been unemployed since early November, so there is not extra money to cover this cost. The good news is, he got a new job starting Monday, and it is only 45 minutes from home.
