Good news....they're scheduling the repair for tomorrow, provided I can connect with the manager - we're playing phone tag. Good thing, too, because I'm on my 2nd glass of wine. If he hadn't called by 4:45, he would have had an angry Irish/German woman with alcohol in her system. Not a good combination.
I received an email from my sister. This time (it happened before) she forwarded a copy of the email from a friend of hers. It was an article from Reuters that didn’t sound correct when I read it. So I checked the link to Reuters and found that this emailed article was “altered” to provide untruthful information on a topic. I simply compared the email news article with that on the Reuters website, and they differed in content and information.
I was angry to view this, and validated the story with FactCheck.org thus finding even more evidence that the “emailed article” was not only altered but also totally untrue! I’m now mad as hell with her, and replied to her email pointing out the errors, dishonesty, false information, lies and questioned her on why she reads “crap” and then forwards it to others.
It took less then ten minutes of time to check all this out, however my issue to her was “this type of false untrue information about what is happening in our country is NOT in the best interest of our population at this time”. It simply creates more hatred and angry among people of different views on topics of current events. I needed to take a shower after reading the email.
What type of people are out there now that are willingly altering the truth and distorting information to make their agenda sound good? They are deliberately creating HATE among other people, and it sickens me!
A - There are no limits to what hateful people will do. I saw a big mouth (to remain unnamed - you decide) on TV today that was in Boston - blah blah blah~~~~~~~ Can't believe anyone would still have any interest in listening to her but I bet there are.

I so agree. I live in a retirement community and the nasty stuff that people spew without checking to see if it's fact or not. We've asked my SIL and a friend not to send any more of this hateful stuff to us. Consequently, the SIL never sends us anything and the "friend" keeps on sending and sending and sending. Oh, well.
Hateful political emails being sent have little or no value, but people keep on sending them. I fail to understand why others are so hateful or pass it on? The items in the last one that I received were lies and untruthful when I checked on the subject matter at FactCheck.org.
Don't email me with fabricated non truthful topics.
An old boss of mine started sending both political & religious crud (she suddenly became religious). I finally told her I didn't want to see that stuff anymore (this religion thing is a total bunch of cra* - so she can fit in with the group her husband is hanging with). Sure glad she's not my boss anymore. She hasn't spoken to me since.
My friend devalued our friendship. My feelings were hurt initially, but I decided not to take it personal and accept it is human nature for people to do what is in their best interest. My friend sent me an impersonal note formally signed with the person's title only. Now I know that is a small thing, but it totally pissed me off all day. It came on very suddenly. I wasn't bothered at first, but the more I thought about the more I didn't appreciate it. I have been this kind of pissed in a long while. But since I have vented. It all good.. This thread is good medicine.
