I am not exactly complaining about this, but my cousin met a guy on the internet and they met in person while she was on a business trip in his neck of the woods. She said he was a nice guy, but she didn't think he was all that interested in anything more than friendship and she was cool w/that. She went back to work and upon her return this guy she just met on the internet sent her 6 dozen long stem premium Roses- that's 72 total roses. Each dozen in its own vase. Now why the LL couldn't it be me LOL Don't worry guys, I am not asking to be sent any flowers. All um saying is some people have all the luck It's kinda not fair because she is always warning me about pervs on the web. I told her I hope I come across one Oh and this guy is a jeweler and he's interested in more that friendship. It's like those people who go to the casino for the first times in their life and hit the Jackpot Well that is my vent over the irony of the whole thing. Of course I wish her the very best. I had this exact conversation w/her and we laughed.

Somewhere in a far away forum on a distant thread....

I just met someone in person for the first time and then sent her some flowers and the dang flower company screwed up my order and sent her SIX dozen roses!!

There goes my rent money! And now I am too embarrassed to ask her to return 5 dozen of them!!!

I hate when people use the phrase. "What can I do you for."

I'm like WTF, are we in Mayberry?

Sorry, just having a rough day.

Sorry to hear u had a rough day, but the same thing happen to me today. I went to a meeting with my kids principal. I had previously spoken with his assistant and he asked me "why are u here, I don't understand what I can do for u?" I was taken aback. I want to say something... but he was tall tan young and handsome. I was expecting some older man w/ glasses. I told him ur assistant set up this appointment... After he saw I was impressed with his assets he said he would get back with me. I feel on WTF...
