Then again, bragging about how much above the average Joe you are and how many resources your kids have available to them, now THAT'S what I call class.
syracusa - disregarding your classless comment, what you fail to understand is we don't live our lives as statistics you read about. Statistics are made up of individual experience. That is true no matter which country or part of the world one lives in. I have to admit I too have wondered why you stay here. In fact, I believe it's been asked several time over the time you've been posting and you ignore question each time. Interesting.
I do not get it. You were saying people were reproducing without limits and I told you that wasn't my experience.
Any friends you have that exceed the syracusa-approved number of 2 children per family are apparently wantonly overpopulating the earth (ie reproducing without (her) limits). Oh - and just in case your friends may only want 1 child, while that may be noble, it's "not really a family" per syracusa - who is apparently some kind of expert on families. What constitutes one, what they should be doing, how much time they spend together, whether that time is spent in appropriate bonding activities etc etc.

Well for starters it was ME who STATED that my kids have more resources available to them than the average Joe. I wasn't bragging and I didn't say I was above anyone. I also did not refer to anyone as the "unwashed".

She's an expert of course, but she can't back up her statements with anything other than her opinion, which of course is much more credible than mine because I am one of those dysfunctional Americans.

Hmmm. Now come think of it...along with the latest exchanges...how are they REALLY different? Not much. But the illusions of "uniqueness" and "individuality" are priceless, nevertheless.

I come from a large family and i LOVE it,i wouldn't change it for the world we were allowed to be individuals yet remaining a family unit. We had and still have the one for all and all for one attitude. To this day we can reminisce about the good ol' days i can hear a certain song and it brings me back to my child hood.
