AMEX Platinum will give 60,000 points $200 travel, $200 Uber and has Centurion lounges for $550.
Can downgrade to another card if desired. Good for NY'ers that may use Uber and fly out of LaGuardia.
sapphire is 3x on uber and lyft . 300 travel credit , 60,000 points with chase private client account, priority access airport lounge access and 450.000. we compared to the amex and the sapphire won our business . .

Guess it depends on what you use most. Uber is $15 credit every month. That's like cash for those that use it. Travel credit is restricted to only designated airline but I don't find that an issue. And the food in pretty good at the Centurion lounges.
the funny thing is the one time we used it was in charleston . we took it to a plantation about 18 miles away .
when it was time to come back as luck had it , no uber in area .
the hotel had to send a cab to get us for 2x the price .
neither the reporting agency's have access nor the bank . any income statements or proof have to be provided by you . only the irs , state taxing authority and social security have access to your tax records except for some special provisions in section 6103 like welfare agency's , education depts under verification situations , etc . .
Congress amended section 6103 to provide that tax returns and return information are confidential and are not subject to disclosure, except in limited situations, as delineated by the Code, where disclosure is warranted

Yeah, that would make sense. If you give them permission to review your tax returns (to verify income) they are going to get them from the irs. I was surprised that I didn’t have to provide hard copy tax returns as I had in the past. In my case, I have no earned income, so income verification inevitably involves providing tax returns. I’m assuming my electronic signature was akin to signing that form others in this thread have referenced.
anyone you grant access to has to be very specific about them accessing tax records . it can't just say something like allowing them to check financials . you have to fill out a special form .

So you are telling me that I made all this up.....that I never gave anyone permission to verify my income via the irs?
I hope that’s not what you are saying, I’ll give you that benefit.
