I also live in OC and can't wait to cash out and move to Az. Staying in Ca is economically stupid and at your age you have to be smart.

I moved from Oxnard, CA to Surprise, AZ about 10 years ago when I was 30. I would never move back to CA. Everytime I vistit there I can't wait to get back home in AZ.

Frequently I ask . . . WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?

What made you make the move? How would you compare the area I’m looking at in Vistancia to OC?

Why is it so much better? Everybody knows that Newport Beach has better climate and the beach...what makes Tucson better?

I love the desert so looking in Southern Az. Phx is a lot like OC and I'd like a change so not looking there much. So far I like Oro Valley next to Tucson and downtown Tucson. I have just started scouting areas though. I've heard good things about Green Valley so that's on my list. I'm a single 52 year old female I live in Orange now.

Are you a location shopper or do you want to get more for your money ? If you want to get more for your money I’d go to vistancia, if you like Orange County but still want to live if recommend something in hebeast valley like Scottsdale or Gilbert (more like Orange County) and still vastly cheaper.

Vistancia is beautiful but is there a reason you're set on this specific part of the valley? I would come here and rent a place first and scope out the city to see if you like being in that location.

If you were younger, I would have said cash out, come to AZ, use some of your proceeds to buy a house, and invest the rest so you can be a multi millionaire. But since you seem older, I would follow your gut. Do you want to live where everything is familiar and is closer to family or do you want to save money and live on the land of unknown?
