Pretty slow here. Started strong and then tapered off pretty quickly. Looks like I'll have a lot of goodies left.

We're kind of rural, so not prime treating area, or is it the gate with beware of dog sign?... Leftover candy is not bad, I learned years ago to buy what I would want left over. We've also had years where I ran out and would have to raid the kid's bags to supplement the stock

I didn't see anyone out, but I do live in an apartment comples so I am assuming most people went to other neighborhoods.

Neighbor came over to mooch a cold beer ... and a hearing aid battery! Now it's just the dogs and me. Think it's time for chocolate ice cream, yum.

Off topic --- Sort of

We are on Camp Pendleton tonight - hosting a party for some 300 Marines and their families.

I have no idea how many kids there are here but suffice to say - THERE ARE A WHOLE MAJOR BIG BUNCH!!

We have been having pumpkin carving contests, costume judging, lots and lots of Hot Dogs and stuff - lots of candy.

Above all - we have been having a lot of fun

Well, it's not off topic, if Camp Pendleton is your 'hood tonight for a Halloween party, close enough! Sounds like a GREAT time!

Surprised to see kids out at 1:45 in the morning? Sounds a little late for Halloween party.

I have a friend stationed in Camp Pendleton, assuming it's the same one in VA, I wonder if he's at your event? That would be interesting.
